Trolley Radio is an initiative by a group of enthusiastic activists who came together in midst of the historic peasant’s struggle that started in mid 2020 from punjab and arose to assemble the largest ever human gathering of the planet. The desperate and attenuated demand of published material in the form of news letters, pamphlets etc. just raised one question in our minds – what will those protesters do who do not read? Will they have to suffice on the whats-app material that is circulated un-moderated by the unknown? Idea of a Radio just occur during impatient discussion among two of us on the topic – What can we do? The name is thankfully inspired by a news letter that came out in the same circumstances but, of course, in a different medium.
